Box of Rain

Actually Jerry I think PLayed with the Jerry Garcia Band after performing the last show with The Grateful Dead. So I think it is a different song than Box of Rain.

>>>>

Box of Rain was the last song Jerry played with the Grateful Dead in concert. This was at Soldiers Field - Chicago, IL on July 9, 2005. However, The Jerry Garcia Band played with Melvin Seals on July 25, 2005 at the The Bluegrass Brewing Company in Louisville, KY. This was his last public show, and the final song was an Encore: How Sweet It Is.

You can listen to this concert here on archives: http://tela.sugarmegs.org/_asxtela/jgb2005-07-25melvinseals.asx

Jerry Passed on August 9, 1995 only 15 days later while at a rehab center.

Who is a better guitarist Jerry Garcia or Jimi Hendrix?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Depends on what style of guitar you like. No doubt as a shredder, Yngwie was far more technically proficient and revolved his style around the diminished E scale, however, Jimi had more interesting songs and had that soul aspect that technical playing can't always bring.

Why is Santa Claus not true?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Technically he does. He's just dead.

"Santa" is a nickname for a real man known as Saint Nicolas, who was a Bishop from the 4th Century.

Saint Nicolas largely devoted his life to children and orphans, bringing them gifts and food on Christmas Day.

So, Santa, or Saint Nicolas as his real name is, actually does exist, but he's been dead for thousands of years. He is the founding father of gift-giving at Christmas time.

The red outfit that Santa wears however is fictional. Saint Nicolas wore the standard Bishop uniform through his life (which was green). The red outfit was actually invented by Coca-Cola in one of their Christmas adverts, because the colour of Coca-cola is red and green represented one of their rival companies which produced lemonade.
