I consider an alchemist to be human who is wise, evolved spiritually and open to all knowledge. No one can help you become an alchemist now-er days as most people have lost that knowledge.Theirs always more to life than what you think. And theirs more to alchemy than what we no. If u wish to become an alchemist i suggest seaking a path of enlightenment theirs many ways but you must find your own. You will understand one day. but until then goodluck...
The Gate of "Truth" is a gate where all the knowledge of alchemy is stored. Who ever visits this place with have to pay a price for seeing the "truth" For example:
Edward Elric lost his leg (no cannot stand on his own)
Alphonse Elric loses his body (no longer able to feel his mother's warmth)
Izumi lost her lower organs (can no longer mother a child)
Roy Mustange lost his eye sight ( can no longer see what his nation will become)
All of this people lost the thing they seeked, so it is very accurate to say that the gate of truth is a bad thing and might not be the real truth. So far the gate of truth holds many questions.
In the manga, it was the world where alchemy took place. I you went there you would acquire most knowledge of alchemy.
In the anime, it was the place between their world and ours.
Technically, yes. In the OVA ending Hagaren Kids, three kids are going to see their great grandfather, who is Edward.
In the manga there is a photo on the last page that shows Al, Mei, Ed, Winry, and Ed holding a little boy, Winry holding a little girl. I think it's safe to assume those are Ed and Winry's kids. ^^
The Fuhrer's name is Bradley, which is his last name. He is mostly referred to as King Bradly, but that isn't necessarily his front name, it might just be a title.
Amy-chan sayz:
Fuher King Bradely/Wrath/Pride
Fullmetal alchemist because it has a better, addicting story line, with lovable characters. My opinion cant change it

fullmetal definitly because it at least has a point to what their doing, unlike naruto. which naruto is basically all about revenge.
Answer
Fullmetal Alchemist is way better. Fullmetal Alchemist actually has a lot of emotion in it. It will make you laugh at times and cry at other times. Plus there is a good plot. For naruto their is barely a plot at all. in my opinion, naruto sucks and Fullmetal Alchemist is the best manga and anime EVER!!!
I think Fullmetal Alchemist is more cooler than Naruto. In Naruto its mainly all about ninjas and this demon fox that is sealed inside an innocent ninja. But in Fullmetal Alchemist and the manga version there's the 7 powerful Homunculi each of different powers, human chimeras(talking animals/furries)and a well planned plot
Riza Hawkeye gets Black Hayate in Fullmetal Alchemist episode 13 "Fullmetal vs. Flame".
In the series, they never reveal his actual name. At the end, Olivier asks him his real name but Scar wants to give up whatever name he secretly had and the nickname "Scar" because he says he's giving up his past lives or whatever, and Olivier just ends up calling him Ishvalan.
From the first series, the opening themes are in order as follows: Mellisa, Ready Steady Go, Undo, and Rewrite. From Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, they are as follows: Again, Hologram, and Period
At times it does seem as much, but it is not strongly implied nor as any other Fullmetal Alchemist pairing in the anime involving Edward. (THAT INCLUDES EDWIN, EDROY, ELICEST, ETC...)
It is based on Kabbalist and Hermetic alchemy symbolism. It has two major elements, the Winged Crown and the Crucified Serpent
The winged crown symbolizes the mastery or achievement of magisterium over the volatile or some sort of alchemical perfection. The crucified serpent means the stabilization, manifestation or incarnation of the volatile.
Volatility is based on the idea that all things, or material, is made of fire or energy. To stabilize and manifest fire is to give it a form in the physical, or material sphere.
The symbol, which is shared by Edward, his brother Alphonse, and their teacher Izumi Curtis, is an old symbol that represents alchemy itself.
Well... Edward is totally handsome in my opinion. Edward has golden blonde hair, usually in a short plait or braid, dreamy amber eyes, in the first part of the series, he wears red cloak and underneath a black shirt and pants, with his offical state alchemist pocket watch, but in the second part, he just wears all black. Black jacket. Black shirt. Black pants. try my link!
That would makes sense because in the original manga in one of the first three volumes when they met the sewing life alchemist to help them with there phlosiphers stone research Ed met the the sewing life alchemist's daughter who was named nina. Al spent a bunch of time playing with her and then her dad fused her with a dog in a failed expiriment, and then nina begged for death. Seeing that was a pivital moment for Ed in the series so it wouldnt be suprising he had a daughter named Nina.
In the first anime series, Greed is stripped of his red stone by Dante. He is then killed by Edward.
In Brotherhood, Greed is captured by Wrath, and then killed by the Homonculus' leader.
yes but only in casual scenes like when she is attacked by barry the chopper
Yes. Riza wears her hair down. When Mustang was fighting Gluttony. You can see Riza with her hair down.
She also has her hair down - fallen out of its clip would be more accurate - during part of Roy's fight with Envy and during the fight with the gold-toothed doctor.
The original series of the show has stopped, but there will be a new series coming out abut 2012 maby mostly all the actors will reprise there roles but i will be taking over the role of Roy Mustang wish me luck.
Alchemists are people who study the science, alchemy. Taking something apart and putting it back together in a new form. So no it cannot be an allegory, which according to Incablue's description:
An Allegory is a form of extended metaphor, in which objects, persons, and actions in a narrative, are equated with the meanings that lie outside the narrative itself. The underlying meaning has moral, social, religious, or political significance, and characters are often personifications of abstract ideas as charity, greed, or envy.
Thus an allegory is a story with two meanings, a literal meaning and a symbolic meaning.
Examples
In illustrations, allegorical figures such as the Grim Reaper and Blind Justice represent the concepts of death and law, respectively.
In literature, a classic example is Herman Melville's Moby Dick, where the sea and the whale, and Ahab's actions, all represent elements of life and human behavior.
The result was Al (Alphonse Elric), Ed's (Edward Elric) little brother lost his entire body. While Ed himself lost one of his leg. In an attempt to save his little brother Al, Ed tried to bond Al's soul on a piece of armor. Ed had to lose his arm because of that. Al was left with no body, his soul was attached to the piece of armour, and Ed was fitted with an automail arm and leg by Winry and Pinako Rockbell.
