User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

This depends on if the emergency signal lights are activated. It should be noted that even with emergency lights and sirens activated, ambulances are not allowed to exceed the speed limits. That said, if the ambulance has a patient in it, but the lights and sirens are not activated, a regular motorist can pass the vehicle but is discouraged from doing so.

NO! If you pass it, other people might and the patient might be affected.

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Yes. Regulations issued by the United States Department of State, the federal agency in charge of issuing passports (of which, incidentally, Hillary Clinton is the head), acknowledge that your legal name is determined by the state and if your state recognizes same-sex marriage, then you are entitled to a passport in your married name.

The exact citation of the rule is "7 FAM 1359 Appendix C." (Follow link below and scroll down.) If you have any trouble from a passport agent, refer him or her to that regulation.

In NSW Australia, you get charged with Speeding, Driving without a licence, and probably driving an unregistered car with no third party insurance. This is because if the driver is not licenced the third party insurance on the car is void. An expensive pastime to say the least.
