It preys on small mammals , lizards, toads, and other snakes.
With very few exceptions, the majority of snake species (Cobras included) feed on rodents and other warm-blooded animals. The Cobra's diet mainly consists of mice and rats which are in plentiful supply in their native country.
There are many different species of cobras, found throughout Asia and Africa, and different species have different breeding seasons. Keep in mind that most of the places where cobras live, naturally, do not have four seasons like temperate regions, but typically have just two seasons-a dry season and a rainy(monsoon) season, or experience the same type of weather and temperatures year-round. In places where there are two distinct seasons, cobras, along with many other animals, reproduce during or shortly after the rainy season, when food is more plentiful. In captivity, most species of cobras can breed and lay eggs at any time of the year, and may even breed and lay eggs more than once per year due to food and other necessary requirements always being available. Captive snakes aren't subjected to extremes of weather or starvation periods like snakes in the wild.
King snakes are constrictors and are not poisonous (unless you meant to ask about a king cobra), so nothing much will "happen". The bite could potentially become infected. As with any puncture wound, it might be worthwhile seeing a doctor and/or making sure your tetanus booster shots are up to date.
A king snake is not especially likely to bite a person without provocation; they're commonly kept as pets, since they're relatively easy to care for and are fairly docile, gentle animals.
No. Their markings might look a bit like eyes, that's all.
AC Bristol, in England, had designed the car, then Carrol Shelby imported them, and being backed by Ford, for racing purposes, ran their motors in them. Once they got rolling, they had the Italians improve on, and then go onto build some more of the chassis.
The dried meat of the cocoanut, from which cocoanut oil is expressed.
Although not the most toxic of poisonous snakes a king cobra can kill an elephant with one bite.

The largest poisonous snake would be the King Cobra(Ophiophagus hanna), the Latin wordOphiophagus means "Snake-eater". The king cobras average size is 13-14 ft. (3.96-4.26m) weighing around 20 lbs (9 kg), they can reach a length of around 18.5ft (5.6388m) weighing over 40lbs. (18.1436kgs.) and lives in the Rainforest's and grasslands of Southeast Asia, India and China. Color is generally tan, olive-green or black with faint pale yellow cross bands, the females lay around 50 eggs in a constructed nest where they will guard and incubate them faithfully for 60 to 80 days, the young are called Hatchlings and about 1.5 ft. (50cm ) long at birth, the King cobra is very fast and agile with an average lifespan of about 20 years.
Although not the most toxic of poisonous snakes a king cobra can kill an elephant with one bite, the king cobra tracks by site and smell then kills it's prey by striking and injecting it with venom and swallowing it whole, it's preferred diet is mainly other venomous and non-venomous snakes but includes small reptiles, birds and amphibians as well. King Cobras are aggressive and will rear up to confront the intruder where most other cobras will slither away and hide. The only predators are the mongoose and man.
The Black Mamba is faster, but the King Cobra is the worlds longest venomous snake and its diet is mostly made up of other snakes, the King Cobras venom can also kill up to 5 times as fast as the Black mambas. Personally I think the King Cobra would win.
because of snake chamers and habit being destoyed. snake chamer cut off the snake fangs and keep them in small basteks.
All cobra are venomous. Death would depend on the quantity of venom injected and the health of the recipient. But certainly many people are killed by snakes in the tropics each year.
If medical aid and anti venom is provided within minutes of snake bite, chances of saving the victim are pretty high. If it is a king cobra that bit, the venom is very potent and can kill the victim within 5 mins.
The king cobra is distributed across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the southern areas of East Asia where it is not common.
Kingsnakes are not venomous. At worse you could get an infection if not properly cleaned and bandaged.
The Egyptian cobra is also known as Naja haje. Hope this is what you meant =)
It depends on the invidividual snake, how long they are willing to be handled. I advise you handle your snake at least every other day, for about 30 minutes, to keep it tame and used to being handled. Personally, I hold my king snake for several hours, almost every snake. If the snake is tired of being held, you should be able to tell, as the snake will become agitated and crabby. Some may even strike/bite if they get tired of being held. Like I said, it really depends on the snake. Snakes are very different, and even snakes of the same species, coloration, gender, age, and size can have completely opposite personalities.
