I think that they think they need to be " the man " that is powerful and is in charge so they think have more athletic skill then girls which is not always true and they just want to be the best and the strongest

It's agene thing.
When the first humans were created, they needed to the strongest/best hunter to get the best women's.
So they were really competitive. Today you don't really need that anymore.
But everybody has it in his DNA some more then others

Because we are testosterone-filled and find other males threatening to our way of life until we defeat them in something....you know, arm-Wrestling, fighting, racing, etc...it's an animal instinct to establish dominance. If that's not understandable, explain why girls are so emotional and you'll understand how difficult it is to explain.
