For the 2007 Super Bowl, the rating was 42.6 or an average of 93 million viewers. The World Series' ratings, like NASCAR's, have been dropping. Game 1 of the 2006 WS got a rating of 8.0. That's 42.7 for the 2007 Super Bowl versus 8.0 for the first game of the 2006 World Series versus 4.7 for the NASCAR season so far in 2007. Football is the US's #1 spectator sport.
