its been proven that most people dont need to have a cool down after their workouts. some are fine when they dont have one and some people need them. i like to stretch after i workout but my friend who trains with me doesnt and we both feel the same the next day.

If you don't cool down or stretch after exercise, there is a larger chance of getting injured then there would be if you do. Cooling down will help remove lactic acid which can cause cramps and stiffness in the muscles.
