It depends on what your looking for. A metal bat has more spring to it and you can hit it a lot farther.

Metal bats are widely used in high schools and colleges because they are more durable. But metal bats are not used in Major League Baseball because the higher speed of a hit ball could seriously injure a fielder.

Overall, a metal bat is better, but some players report injuries from the impact (which is more severe with metal), making them wonder which is better : a few big hits or consistent hitting.
well to answer ur question, it depends on how well you hit to start with. If you are really bad then it doesnt matter which u use u will still suck

Aluminum is much better than wood. Not only is it almost impossible to break, it provides much more pop off the bat. This is because of the trampoline effect created by the hollow bat. Most aluminum bats today are made of very strong, complex aluminum alloys. Some are made from composite materials and some combine the two.

Aluminum bats last longer and the ball flies farther. These days you can get an aluminum bat for less than $50. It's not as good as the higher end bats ($199+), but it's better than wood. Go with aluminum.

Aluminum bats are more durable. It's very possible for a team to go through five dozen wooden bats in a single season, while an aluminum bat will last the whole season.

Did an aluminum bat or wooden bat hit the farthest?

Wooden BatSupposedly, the wooden bat due to the weight of the ash wood used to make bat as opposed to the aluminum. However, it's not really the bat, it's the speed of the thrown ball and the speed with which the bat makes contact. Ask a baseball coach or a physics professor for more info.Usually a wooden bat, but aluminum bats hit faster, which is why I was almost decapitated before my time a few weeks ago.they think the aluminum would hit farther because a wooden bat would not hold up as goodthat's right an aluminum bat hits so far that the major leagues don't even use them trust meAluminum bat hits faster but i also think a aluminum bat would hit farther too because the aluminum bat is lighter and the faster you swing the farther it goes.

What type of bat will a baseball come off of better plastic aluminum or wooden bats?

baseballs come off an aluminum bat faster and harder, than they do on a wooden bat. that is why in the MLB they make the players use wooden bats, to prevent serious injury. i myself perfer to use and practice with a wooden bat in the off season, because it teaches you to use the right mechanics to hit the ball harder and farther. but during games i use an aluminum ball bat, and during practice i use a wooden bat. i would restrain from using a carbon-fiber bat because they have a tendency to crack and break. but that is just my opinion on carbon fiber bats.

Can you hit a baseball better with a wooden bat or an aluminum bat?

alumiun bats are better because they are hollow and because they have a bigger sweet spot than wood another reason is that they bend then use the momentum to "smack" that bal out of there the power in and alumiun bat is about 15% more then that of a wooden bat... but i personal like the swing of a wooden bat the weight seems to be more towards the end of the bat and swings it self also, the aluminum bats gets weaker each time it hits the ball and the wood gets stronger. GET DA ALUMINUM IT BETTER
