Vijay Kumar in the Men's 25 m rapid fire pistol and Sushil Kumar in Wrestling for the Men's 66 kg freestyle event both won the a Silver Medal for India.

The Bronze Medals were won by Gagan Narang for Men's 10 m air rifle, Saina Nehwal in Women's singles Badminton, Mary Kom for Women's flyweight Boxing event and Yogeshwar Dutt for the Men's 60kg Freestyle Wrestling event
