A marker is a specially made piece of plastic or metal which is usually circular and sometimes coloured or personalised. It is used by golfers on the green to mark the position of their ball, they do so to allow them to clean their ball before putting or get their ball out of another players line. To mark the ball you place the marker directly behind the ball and pick the ball up, it is also best to tap it down a bit, then when it is your turn to putt you simply place the edge of the ball at the edge of the marker and lift it. You can also use tees or coins as markers.
Just the hole or the cup.

I'd use a permanent marker. As you (carefully) count each one, color it in with the marker, to avoid counting any one twice and enabling you to know when you have counted them all.

Nail polish remover or white spirit.
There is no difference.
Yes. distance marker posts may be removed if impeding your swing or the direction of your shot.
No, an OB marker indicates the boundary of the course and as such cannot be moved. Red and yellow stakes can be moved though.
You can use nail polish remover to remove most permanent markers off a disc.
Golf ball markers come in various shapes and sizes. Under the rules of golf you can technically use anything to mark your golf ball on the green, you can use a tee, a pitch mark repairer or any coin. However good etiquette would be to use a small coin about 2-3 cm's in diameter and one that lies relatively flat to the ground as to not have any effect on your playing partners.
Golf nets are not used to cover your golf clubs when not in use. Golf nets are used to stop the golf ball after you hit it. It is like a background stop for the golf ball. There are golf nets for indoor and outdoor use.
It depends on what marker you have, a marker like a 3.5 Excellerator, Tac-5 (any marker of the TAC-5 brand) or a similar marker like these, you can use HPA in.
