With rare exceptions, tennis ball boys and girls are not paid anything for their volunteer work, other than receiving free shirts, hats, and other souvenirs, and free or low cost food and drinks. Although they are not allowed to ask for Autographs while they are on court, some players will sign the kids' shirts as a courtesy, which most kids would see as a "perk" of the job.
Well, a first year ball boy makes the minimum 7.75 an hour. Then, after you complete a year of ballboying, you make 9.75 an hour. BTW, I am a US Open ballboy.
I read a book that said the ball boys do not get paid but get to keep their uniform. I do not know if this is accurate or still true.

newton's laws of motion apply to tennis because of the 3 law of motion. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. So when the ball hits the racket the force from the racket makes the ball move forward. Also the second law applies because the law is an object in motion will tend to stay in motion until an outside force acts upon it. So when the player hits the ball gravity is putting a force on the ball which brings the ball to the ground. If gravity didn't exist then the ball would go on forever.
The ball's velocity changes to 0m/s and the boy's stays the same.
