∙ 15y agoA par three is a hole in Golf which has been given a par of 3, this means it is expected that you hit the green in regulation, which in the case of a par 3 is 1 shot, and you then take two putts to finish out the hole. They usually range from about 100 yards to as much as 250 yards. The longer par threes such as 240 or so you would find on courses which professional golfers play, from the very back tees.
