Division IThe single-season Division I Men's record is held by Pete Maravich of LSU in 1972 scoring 1,381 points in 31 games, an average of 44.5 ppg. Maravich also holds the career record for total points in NCAA DI, scoring 3,667 points in 83 games an average of 44.1 ppg. Division IIThe all-time NCAA career total points record is held by Travis Grant of Kentucky State a Division II school. In 131 games from 1969 to 1972, he scored 4,045 points, an average of 33.4 ppg. NAIA SchoolThe Maravich and Grant records are correct for the NCAA, but "College Basketball's" all-time leading scorer is John Pierce with 4,230 points (1,627 FGs, 881 FTs in 148 games). Pierce played for David Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN from 1990-1994. At the time, Lipscomb was an NAIA school.

Travis Grant, Kentucky State (div 2) 4045 career points. Wrong..... it is 4230, John Pierce, David Lipscomb (Tenn.), 1990-94 (1,627 FGs, 881 FTs in 148 games)

Pierce played under the aegis of the NAIA, not the NCAA. Pierce is college Basketball's all-time leading scorer and Travis Grant is the NCAA all-time leader.
