The International Federation of Gymnastics has a requirement of an athlete turning 16 years old in the Olympic year to compete. Figure skating has an age requirement of turning 15 by July 1 of the year before the Winter Olympics to compete. Other than that, there are no age requirements.

There are absolutely no age restrictions to buying tampons.Tampons are just like other menstrual products or other toiletries such as tissue, deodorant, and toothpaste - they are just basic hygiene products people of all ages need, no reason for them to be restricted at all. How old do you have to be to compete in the Olympics?

For U.S. Athletes: There is no age limit to compete. However, some sports do have age requirements for health and safety reasons. Competition rules of certain international federations cite age limits as follows: - Bobsled (minimum of 14 years old) - Diving (minimum of 14) - Equestrian (16 or older) - Figure skating (15 by July 1 of previous year) - Judo (15 or older), luge (16 or older) - Soccer (under 23) - Team handball (over 18) - Wrestling (must be at least 17 on day of Opening Ceremonies). There are no general restrictions among the International Federations on an "upper" age limit. A person must be 16 during the calendar year in which the Olympics are held. So, a person could compete in the Olympics when they are 15 years old if they would be turning 16 later in that same year.
