In addition to the above, Al Attles won an NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors in 1974-75 and Lenny Wilkins won one with Seattle in 1978-79. Interestingly, in the 1974-75 season championship match, the other head coach, with the Washington Bullets. was Lenny Wilkins. That was the only time that both finalists had black head coaches. By the way, KC Jones won both in the 1983-84 and 1985-86 seasons.
