Alpine skiing is a sport where you travel to a mountain that has
snow and you use specialised hard boots, called ski boots, which
attach to skis, long planks of wood, carbon or various other
materials, by bindings. You slide down the snow covered hill on
your skis. If you want to learn how to ski, I would highly
recommend taking lessons. There is a whole technique to skiing
properly and if you learn correctly, you are much less likely to
hurt yourself or other people.
