Footballs featuring the genuine Autographs of the 60's-era Packers are highly sought by collectors. Presuming authenticity, values can range dramatically. Key factors are: the placement, size and clarity of the the star players' signatures (the bigger and bolder, the better), the type of ball (is it an "Official NFL" ball?), and the all-important overall condition of the ball and signatures. "Provenance" - the who, what, when and where of a signed ball's history, may also add value if documented. If genuine, your ball would be worth $500 to as much as $750, depending on all the aforementioned factors. An absolutely pristine official ball with Lombardi would be worth as much as as $1000. With autographs, a picture is truly worth the proverbial thousand words, and can save alotta time in the authentication, appraisal, and selling process.

Just an FYI, a couple weeks ago in a New York auction, a '62, '63, and '65 Packer team signed balls went over $2500 a piece. The '65 went highest at $2980. This ball will fetch much more considering it is the first year for the superbowl, in which Green Bay defeated Kansas City. Other than Lombardi, you have 9 other HOFer's on it. Once authenticated, this ball will be the needle in a haystack. Anything less than $10k would be crazy.

I've seriously collected memorabilia for 30+ years and am always interested in nice items and "finds." I'd really like to know more about this ball.

I saw a Green Bay Packers signed football on Antiques Roadshow about 6 months ago (that would be around Aug 2007) and it was apprasied for about 6,000 dollars. I found it very interesting because I have a GBP footballl from 1967 as well that I won at a football convention in 1967 in Wichita Kansas when I was playing Pee Wee football. With the Packers in contention now for the 2008 Superbowl (I'm writing this 14 Jan 2008) I am sure that 'our' footballs are worth more. For more info go to PBS Antique roadshow and do a search!

There are many factors that can impact the value of a sports collectible including its condition. The value of a football autographed by the entire 1973 Green Bay Packers team in the original box is approximately 200 USD.

The value of a 2007 team-signed Green Bay Packers football varies, depending on its condition and whether the ball was actually signed, or just stamped. A signed ball in good condition could fetch between $150 and $300.

The value (if properly authenticated by expert analysis and league forensics) is just north of $125000.00 US dollars. Of course, that assumes that the 1978 air is still inside the ball; air post-1978 devalues the ball by $124995.
