The majority owners of the UFC are Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta who own a combined ~80% stake of the company. UFC President Dana White owns ~10%.

The Fertittas have said they were willing to sell up to 15% ownership in the UFC so if you have millions to spare, you too could be a part owner of the UFC.

Nobody; the sport of MMA does not have a unified body, and lately it has even split into different leagues. There is however a rivalry going on between PRIDE FC and the UFC, and people still argue over which are better quality fighters. See, UFC fighters sometimes do well in PRIDE, but, on ocassion former champs like Mark Coleman meet their Fedor/Waterloo. The idea of a unified MMA body is pretty interesting; MMA's greatest strength, is that it did not start out being ruled by the mafia like Boxing did, its part of the reason Brazilian Vale Tudo fighters tend to be muscled out, figuratively speaking. Its tough for Vale Tudo guys to transition into MMA because a lot of them have a criminal background, in Brazil many Vale Tudo competitions are sponsored by the drug lords. The fastest way to have a stigma attached to you, is to have competed in Vale Tudo; other fighters may respect your skill and courage, but the law won't let you step into the octagon, or the PRIDE arena. The world of MMA does bend over backwards to make sure no crooks step in there, its nothing like Boxing used to be.
