A friend is someone who likes you for who you are and what kind of personality you have. A friend will always be there for you no matter what. They don't criticise you by your skin colour, your language, your height, your weight or your gender. A buddy is someone that likes you for the things you have and don't care about your personality. A buddy won't always be there for you. They care about your money, clothes, cellphone, the house you live in, the car your parents drive and all those stuff. A buddy is a made up person, like someone ywho does not really like you just your material things. That's the difference between a friend and a buddy!
