Well for a 13 year old girl that is an average time but wont get you anywhere in a competitive race.
6 mins or less for 1 mile.
Yeah but i highly doubt a 13 year old boy got that.
not at all if your a intermediate runner beginners usually take about 12 mins for a mile
An average time for 12-year-old runners is 8 minutes for a mile, and 7 minutes is above average. Taller runners usually have an advantage due to a longer stride.
Yeh, that's really good! I'm 11 year old girl, i ran it in 6 mins something. You will have beat all my class!
a good time for anyone to run a quarter mile is 90 seconds. so 1 minute and 30 sec. i run it in 1min and 44 sec. but im working up. my first time was 2 mins flat. it takes practice
An 8 minute mile is very good for a 7 year old. My son ran around an 8 minute mile in 5th grade when he was 11 years old and he was second in the school. So an 8 minute mile is good for a seven year old.
...............................Nooooo! NOOOO WAY DUDE 700 minutes 1 MILE???? MY 3 YEAR OLD SISTER GOOD DO BETTER THEN THAT!!!!!!
non
Eamonn Caughlin broke a 4 minute mile after age 40.
I'm a male, age 38. I smoke 30 cigarettes a day. I'm not especially fit, but much better than I was 6 months ago. I can do a mile and half in 11:45, so that's just under 8 mins for a mile. If I was only running one mile I might get it down to 7:30. I've read a lot about this and it seems that 4 mins for a mile is top level athlete standard, 5-6 mins is club runner standard and 7-8 mins is just about respectable for a non-competitive runner in his 30s.
That depends on how long you have been training for. I am 46 and run 10k or 6.2 miles on average 40 mins each time. hope that helps, training is the key to improving.
