It is extremely uncommon for 17 year olds to get Breast cancer. However, if the lump is a new development, you should see your doctor, but keep in mind that it is very unlikely to be breast cancer.

If this is more of a bump on the skin instead of a lump within the breast, it may be a cyst or an ingrown hair follicle. But it should probably be looked at by somebody who doesn't faint at the sight of blood.
