Are the Michigan Wolverines a football team?

Not historically. Michigan is the winningest College Football program of all-time. But don't let that fool you. Any school could have that title had they been playing football since the 1800's. As of right now, though, State has won the last 2 matches over Michigan and has attended bowl games, while Michigan sat at home.

Yes they do. Many people (myself included) will tell you that the Ohio State Michigan rivalry is the greatest rivalry in college football. Normally, the Ohio State vs. Michigan football game is the last game of the regular season for both teams although the Big Ten would like to change that.
