well, depends how famous they were and what they accomplished! If you want to sell it.. then your market is clearly those of the older generation.. as they would be most likely to know the team! If not, then surely the bat itself would be of antique aptitide. £10?


Depending on condition and legibility of the actual signatures, these will often fade over time due primarily to light and also the effect of linseed oil on the bat surface.

Condition of the handle is immaterial as in my experience all bats suffer rubber perish.

This was adisappointingtour for Australia as they lost the series 1-0 following 4 drawn matches.

I would say in good condition the bat is worth £80, in my opinion it would have been worth somewhat more if signed by the England side led by legendary Len Hutton.
