Just because it is easier. It's hard to stand up in fins (FLIPPERS) on a rocking boat!!
Just because it's akward to walk with fins on your feet walking normally, so Scuba divers walk sideways or backwards because it's easier.
It's easier to walk in fins backwards. Plus you have a lot of gear strapped to your back, so going backwards ensures you won't hit it on whatever you're jumping off of.
Scuba divers fall backwards out of a boat because the tank breaks the water so they don't get hurt.
In the Water....
swallow water
water proof ones
People are dumping trash in water.
Generally no. They need to be quite fit to be able to swim in the water :)
Open Water
Divers fall backwards from a boat because it is often the easiest way to make a deep water entry from a small boat or rib.
Most scuba divers just obtain open water certifications from recreational diver training agencies, such as PADI, NAUI, BSAC or SDI.Only military or commercial divers undertake vocational diving qualifications.
I would call it the Great White Pucker Factor.
The deeper the diver goes, the higher the pressure is.
SCUBA" is an acronym that stands for "Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus." Therefore, a "SCUBA diver" is someone who uses this self-contained equipment to breathe underwater while exploring the depths of the ocean or other bodies of water. The term distinguishes divers who use this equipment from other types of divers, such as surface-supplied divers who receive air from the surface through hoses.
Because fish have gills and can breathe under water and humans do not
