If you are talking about the dotted line seen continuing off the court, parallel to the net, then that line is an off-court continuation of the 10-foot line. This line is a reference point that many hitters use to judge distance from the net as well as the boundary line that the back row players cannot jump in front of. By continuing this line off the court, it enables player that might be slightly out of the court to avoid penalties or judge distance to the net.
sideline
In volleyball, you serve from behind the back boundary line on your side of the court.
it is the out of bounce line, if the top of the ball hits the line, the ball is in
This means that cars on either side of the median can not pass the car in front of them. If there were to be a dotted yellow line and a solid line - only the side with the dots can pass the car in ahead of them (with checking that there is no oncoming traffic of course). If there was one dotted line, both can pass cars.
The endline is the out of bounds line that can also be called the serving line. It is parallel with the net where as the side lines run perpendicular to the net.
The indoor court is 9X9 meters on each side. Also their is a line 3m back from the net on each side. The beach court is 8X8 meter and does not have a 3m line.
Draw a straight line diagonally up. Then draw another line diagonally going the other direction meeting at the other end of that first line. Draw a line connecting the last one and make it steep going diagonally up right. Connect that to the first line. Then make a dotted line inside the pyramid (this time not as steep) and connect that with another dotted line to your second line. Make a line down the middle (dotted) connected to the vertices of the first two lines. So, it should look like a kite with a square inside and a line in the middle. All you simply have to do is: Draw a triangle, and then either on the left side or the right side, draw another small mini triangle sort of with like a slope down feature.
4 touches on one side, step over serving line, touches ball before it goes out, ball goes out on other side
Volleyball Court DimensionsThe Volleyball court is 60 feet by 30 feet in total. the whole entire court is 60ft with each side being 30ft and each side having a ten foot line and the net in the center of the court
Fold It In Half Like This: _________ --------------- _________ Make A Dotted Line On The Paper If It Helps! :) _ Thanks,Hallie Russell
The dotted lines in the right side are for the length. This is to make the map easier to read.
