How do you varial kickflip on a skateboard?

Foot position to varial kickflip just put your back foot like a pop shuvit and your front foot like a regular kickflip, only pointing a little more to the nose than a regular kickflip. the flip you want to POP the board, not shuv, and when the board is touching the ground for the pop, or slightly in the air, you want to roll your ankle and kick straight forward. if you dont roll your ankle to make it flip, then you will end up with a lame pop shuv. after that lift your legs up. oh, and you have to jump forward, otherwise you will land with one foot or with your toes. hope it helps

How do you kickflip on a skateboard i can spin it and everything but i just cant land on the bolts my feet kinda spaz out in the air and i cant keep them level with the bolts can anyone help?

i have the same problem with that but i noticed that the flick in your front ankle is not only important in spinning the board but also important in bringing your front foot back in order to land the kickflip. maybe that's the problem.

Is kickflip hard or easy?

Easy! Practice With your flicking first get the form Don't Stop. easy once you get the hang of it but pretty hard at first I'm not going to lie it is very hard but just don't ever give up and watch lots of videos, it helps. You will also get very frustrated at times. Jump high, flick your foot, and most importantly bring your front foot up after you flick out, otherwise you'll only land with one foot on. Good luck.

Should you learn the kickflip or heelflip first?

It took me about one or two months to learn the kickflip. The hardest part is learning how to land it. It only took about 12 days to learn to heelflip after learning to kickflip, because the hardest part about both of them is just learning how to land the trick (Once you are comfortable with spinning the board all the way over, concentrate on lifting your back foot up.) You land them about the same way, you spin the board, lift up your legs, let it spin, and land it. It doesn't take very long to learn how to flip the board, so all I had to was learn to spin the board with a heelflip. It doesn't really matter which one you learn first, they are very similar. I think you should learn the kickflip first, but that's just because to me kickflips are easier to do. I think they are easier to spin. The hardest part is just learning to land it, once you can land one of the tricks, you've basically just learned both of them. You just have to learn how to spin the other one. Make sure when you try to spin a heelflip, that you are dragging your foot up, and flicking it off at the concave. When you are trying to spin a kickflip, make sure you are flicking off the concave also and that you are flicking out and not down. If you flick down you will slam the board into the ground. Make sure and don't flick too hard when doing a kickflip. This will cause your board to shoot out away from you. You just want to go out a few inches past the concave, and do it lightly. If you have any other problems just let me know and I'll see if I can help you! :)

How do you do a kickflip on a skateboard?

Kick-flips take 1-5 months to learn and master. Kick-flips are pretty frustrating. You have to learn to do a ollie first. So then you do an ollie but you keep the front slanted and the back a slightly further. Do an ollie like that but as your front foot slides forward you give it a flick and that starts the motion. After, you have down pack flipping now to land. To land the kick-flip you do a sort of a flick then try to catch it with back foot only. Then practice land only front foot. Then all that's left to do is land on both feet on the the bolts!!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Definantly doesnt take that long. Depends on how much you practice. p.s go on youtube for more information!!

Can you do a kickflip like a heelflip?

yes, it's called a switch heelflip (for mongo-skaters only)

What is harder a switch heelflip or a switch kickflip?

To put it simple a heel flip is where you kick your foot forward to do a 360 degree flip of the board. A kick flip on the other had is where you kick your foot backward to do a 360 degree flip of the board. It's that simple.
