Likely low battery- the click is the starter solenoid trying to pull in, but not enough current to turn the starter motor. If it will start with a jump, either battery or charging system needs attention.
If your solenoid is bad on your atv raptor it will just click when trying to start it
It's probably your starter or maybe the sellonoid. Easy to check which it is.
no it will just fail the spark plug more often
The Yamaha 350 raptor is the same thing as a Yamaha warrior just with liquid cooling the motors still basically all the same the valve setting on my 2000 warrior are .004 on intake and .006 on exhaust
your one way starter clutch is blown out. same problem happened to me and raptors are highly know to break starter clutches. just buy an extreme raptor starter clutch kit.
The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) for the Yamaha Raptor 80 is located on the right hand side of the bike. The VIN is stamped into the lowest part of the frame just below the rear brake pedal.
Easy one , you have a bad starter. The brushes need to be replaced if your handy enough to rebuild it yourself or have a friend that can, or just replace the whole starter for way more money.
The raptor 250 was not made in 2001. 2001 200cc would be a 2 stroke blaster and it depends on if any mods have been done. If its just stock then @$500.00-$1500.00
The alternator might be the problem.
there isn't much different. i have a 98 Yamaha warrior and my friend has a 2005 Yamaha raptor. both 350cc. but mine is bored out. winceo piston rings, aftermarket exhaust.k and n air filter with open box. his is stock. on mine if you thrash the throttle it will do a wheelie, his just picks up a little. the motor sets forward a little more.the have the same motor and basic parts, frame is a little different
Battery is dead.
It could be a dead battery.
