Anderson doesnt fight right or left handed he fights southpaw (most of the time), which is right hand in front. Bruce Lee was also right handed but would fight southpaw. I think they do this to confuse people, it also strengthens their weaker side.... so when anderson switches to orthodox people prob think that is his weaker side when really its his stronger side. But who really knows other than Mr. Silva...
i believe de la hoya is naturally left handed, but boxed orthodox

There is Left-handed or southpaw fighter stance, which can create problems for orthodox fighters not used to fighting southpaws. And obiously, the Orthodox fighter stance, which is the oposite of the southpaw stance. Left-handed or southpaw stance fighters have their right foot in front of them letting them balance with the left foot. Orthodox or right-handed stance fighters have their left foot in front of them, and letting the right foot to help them balance as well. now, those are the main stances, but once you figure out your stance you can continue with an upright stance, semi crunch stance or full crunch stance. How ever you feel comfortable.
