Because they are in the same division as the 49ers, Cardinals, and the Rams. The NFC is that bad and someone has to win the division. The Seahawks just happen to be the best team in one of the worst divisions in football They will not be a playoff team this year because their owner is a purveyor of hate radio. Because they have Shaun Alexander and Matt Hasselbeck AND have the easiest division. Personaly I think they will have success outside their division. Because the Seahawks are the best team in the NFC and one of the best in the NFL. Not only will they be a play-off team, They will be Super Bowl Champions!!!!!
