There is a huge difference. Mens gymnastics has six events (parallel bars, rings, floor, Paloma horse, vault, and high bar) and the girls with only 4 (floor, bars, beam, and vault). When the men use the parallel bars, the are set at the EXACT same height. But when girls use the parallel bars (or called simply bars), they are at different heights making you having to jump from the lower bar to the higher one. Beam consists of grace and balance, floor being agility (same with men. Only girls have music to their routines.), and vault is the same too.

Muscular endurance in gymnastics?

Womens Gymnastics does require some muscular endurance on Bars because it is nonstop (but Bars is usually quick), and to hold positions on beam, but generally no. Mens gymnastics however, generally requires a lot of endurance to hold positions in all events except vault and high bar. um, women gymnast have A LOT of muscle.. they need it for tumbling vault bars, and beam! all of the events require muscle. a lot of it. women gymnast spend at least a 1 hour a day working on just muscle. i think men gymnast require MORE muscle, but not a lot more. women gymnasts have to be muscular, flexible, graceful, and powerful. take it from a women gymnast, it requires much more muscle then thought.
