This is not always true but a lot of times its because the coaches at catholic schools graduated from there and have a passion for the school, this inspires players.
They hire and fire coaches almost yearly and are always changing the offense and defense when they do and they can never settle on a quarterback as they change them yearly also, the coaches they hire are first time coaches and have no experience and the players fight among themselves due to lack of disipline.
Sometimes, like NFL Coaches aren't always as athletic but school coaches and little league coaches for the most part are. ! :-)
