Did Gorman Thomas wear a different jersey number when he returned to the Brewers in 1986 If so what was it?

I grew up with Gorman and followed his career rather extensively. I am pretty sure that his number 20 was the same when he returned to the Brewers in '86. A interesting fact, however, was his number when he first arrived as a Brewer. His original number was 44. This was fine until Hank Aaron returned to the Brewers for his retirement year and went to Gorman's locker and took all the #44 jerveys. #44 was Hank's number! Gorman remarked that he could do nothing, therefore, changed to #20, which happened to be his high school number in Charleston. Later, Hank's #44, I think was retired by the team. J.Gilbert
