Will the 2012 Olympics be good for the UK?

the london 2012 Olympics will be good and bad for the eastside of london and the uk as a whole.

for the eastside it will be good because it will bring 12,000 jobs permantly and thousands more temoreroly. there will be transport improvements to stations and tube lines. houses and flats will be built for the athletes but afterwards they will be given to key workers. but many people and buisnesses are fustrated as they were made to move. 10 percent of the buisnesses were not able to find another place to settle down so they were forced to shut down. also afterwards london will be very pollouted and messy from all the litter. some sports venues will stay up so locals may use them.

for the uk as a whole it will be very expensive especilally in this economic time.

The Olympics will be a good thing for London because lots of people in London don't get much exercise but the games will inspire us because we want to do that sport because it looks fun so we try it and if we like it we carry on but if we don't we try another one.

good points - it is held in Britain , bad points - there could be injuries. we have already gone 7billion over budget. and every TAX paying family has to now pay £350 more to pay for the Olympics.
