Regarding alpine skiing Kjetil Andre Aamodt has (as of the 2010 winter games) won the most medals in Olympic skiing with 8 medals whereof 4 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze. Janica Kostelic and Anja Pärson has won the most medals of any woman (as of the 2010 winter games) where both have 6 medals. Janica has won 4 gold and 2 silver and Pärson 1 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze.
