The first race was won by Dick Hire from Hire auto parts on the 3/8 dirt track driving what was believed to be a 1934 Ford coupe, The last race was won by Gene Turner driving a 1955 Ford owned by the woods brothers, Delphas, And Williard. The track then had been changed to asphalt.

The winner of the last race at the South Anthony speedway in 1964 was Gene Turner, He was driving a 1955 Ford owned by williard, And Delphos Woods.This was on a Friday night race, According to the sports news in the Ft Wayne Journal Gazzette Willie woods won the previous Friday, But, This was a misprint, Gene also won this race too. Thank, And "God bless". From an old race fan.
