∙ 11y agoIn the Open Era, no French man has ever won the men's singles title at the Championships. It was won by numerous Frenchmen before the Open Era, up until the war years.
In the women's game, Mary Pierce won the title in 2000. This is the only French win in the entire Open Era at the French Open.
