No Major League Baseball players were killed in World War II. The only major league baseball player killed in warfare was Eddie Grant, who was killed in World War I. (Scanning the Baseball Encyclopedia found that answer.) There was a memorial to Eddie Grant, jr on the clubhouse wall of the old Polo Grounds, 505 feet from home plate. He was the son of the Giant's GM, Eddie Grant, and was killed at the Argonne forest in WW I. Major leaguers KIA in WW II were Elmer Gedeon of the Senators (5 games) killed at St. Pol in France and Harry Mink O'Neill of the Athletics (one game)killed on Iwo Jima. They are the only ones I know of.
