It depends on how many illegal u were caught with. Also if you were in a organized crime.
The first illegal drugs were plant products. Opium and cocaine were the first drugs made illegal. Since these were used for thousands of years prior to their illegality in the United States, it is impossible to say that they were invented by anyone. Additionally, because of their use since antiquity, it is unknown who discovered these substances.
At first they seem to work just fine, but the physical damage is not worth it. Not to mention if you are caught you get into trouble. It is also a form of cheating.
A substance is first considered controlled when it is not FDA approved, in which the substance is illegal, and therefore needs to be controlled by the government.
