The first double century by a Pakistani batsman came courtesy of Imtiaz Ahmed against New Zealand in the 414th Test in the 1955-56 season, between October 26-31. Ahmed's score of 209, from seventh in the batting order, accompanied a score of 189 from Waqar Hasan, giving a seventh-wicket partnership of 308.
The first Pakistani cricketer to score a century on his debut in Test cricket was Khalid Ibadulla, who scored an innings of 166 against Australia in October 1964.
Ibadulla, who had an eighteen-year first class career with Warwickshire, had just two other scores in double figures in a four-match, eight-inning career in Test cricket.

It is of note that Sachin's debut first-class century occurred over six calendar years before the start of Jacques Kallis' debut first-class appearance.
