Wes Unseld was the 1968-69 NBA Rookie of the year. During his first season in the league, while playing with the Baltimore Bullets, Unseld averaged 13.8 PPG, 18.2 RPG and 2.6 APG in 36.2 MPG. Unseld also won the MVP award that season, becoming only the second NBA player to ever win both Rookie of the Year and MVP in the same season (the previous was Wilt Chamberlain, in 1959-60).
