That's what investigators are trying to find out.

The exact reason is still unknown but the suspects are alleged to have ties to an extremist group, although this has not been confirmed.

The elder brother bomber was acting out from his frustrations, among them the at being unable to fit into Western society. Unfortunately, instead of working hard at the problem, he decided to blame society as a whole and struck back in a horribly immature and inappropriate way.

Somewhere along the way, some one pedaled to him an extreme version of Islam, one that promised to fulfill his problems or at least let him strike back in rage.

Watch this space for more information.

Sad, pathetic cowards unable to find an answer try to inflict pain in an effort to cause change that has nothing to do with their own viewpoints or opinions which are too blinded in bias and hate to give a real purpose for their own life.

No, they did not actually use fireworks, but some of the ingredients from them. They used a method that involved the use of pressure cookers. The information was released by public media.
