On January 24, 1979 the University of Manitoba Bisons scored 3 goals in 17 seconds in a Great Plains University Athletic Conference regular season game. Steve Montgomery scored at 18:52 of the second period then at 19:01 Kevin Knibbs scored followed by Dwight Chatterley's goal at 19:09.

Japan's Masashi Nakayama netted three times in the opening four minutes against Brunei in February 2000 (World Cup Qualifier) to record the fastest hat-trick in the history of international football. Im sorry but it was Robbie Fowler scoring 3 goals in 2 minutes.
