Hal Lee.

Lee replaced the Babe for the Boston Braves in the second inning of the game on May 30, 1935 against the Philadelphia Phillies played at the Baker Bowl in Philly. In the top of the first inning, in what would be his last MLB at bat, Babe grounded out to the first baseman. In the bottom half of the first he hurt a knee when he misplayed a fly ball into a run scoring triple. After the third out, instead of running into the dugout, Babe turned and ran to the clubhouse in centerfield. Ruth announced his retirement three days later.

Lee had a double and two singles in the Braves 11-6 loss.
