Pitcher Gene Conley played with the Red Sox between 1961-1963 and was 6' 8''.
Not sure if he was the tallest, but in the early 90"s they had a pitcher named Mike Smithson who was 6ft 8in.
Kevin Garnett and Rasheed Wallace, both 6'11", are the tallest players on the Boston Celtics
Pitcher Randy Johnson at 6 foot 10 inches was the tallest.
