Well, Bill Tilden was 37 at his last Wimbledon title in 1930: he finally went professional from there and won his last "major" pro title at Wembley at 45 years old! So there's a good starter ;)
Wimbledon Championships Since 1877
Stanley CUP
The Champions, Wimbledon. It is the world's oldest tennis tournament having being held in Wimbledon since 1877. It runs for two weeks in June/July each year.
There have been 63 unique men's champions at Wimbledon since its inception in 1877 (the Championships were not played during the two World Wars) through and including the 2008 Championships, so it would be something of a chore to list all their ages. However, according to the Wimbledon website (refer to the link, below), the youngest men's singles champion at Wimbledon was Boris Becker at 17 years, 227 days (1985), while the oldest man was Arthur Gore at 41 years, 182 days (1909). Obviously, the remaining champions are between those ages.
The Championships, Wimbledon are played at the All England Club in the suburb of Wimbledon (Greater London). It is the oldest tennis tournament in the world, dating to 1877.
The oldest major golf championship is The Open Championship which was first played on the 17th October 1860, and is the only major championship played outside of the USA.
If the oldest members of the family are seen as leaders, the oldest female is the family matriarch, and the oldest male is the family patriarch.
It is the oldest turnament and it takes place in Wimbledon, suburb of London at the All England Club since 1877. That is why it is called like that.
English Premier League.
