Olympic Games records are unofficial and there is a debate as to whether wind assisted performance should count (which they typically do for championship records/bests).

The best TJ at and Olympic Games achieved with a legal wind is 18.09m by Kenny Harrison in 1996. However Mike Conley jumped 18.17m with wind assistance in 1992.
