The women's world record is held by Yelena Isinbayeva of Russia with a vault of 5.06 meters (16 feet 7 1/4 inches).
Sergey Bubka owns the world record for pole vaulting at 20 feet 1 and 2/3 inches (6.14 meters) established at the 1988 Seol Olympic games. Bubka (from Ukraine) is the only human to vault the 20 foot mark!!!
