Tweety Carter of Baylor scored 7457 points in his high school career
Greg Procell of Noble Ebarb High School in Noble, Louisiana scored 6702 points in his prep career (1967-1970). Procell averaged 37.2 ppg in 180 games.
Tweety is credited with 5748 points in his four-year High School (2003-2006) career according to the National Federation of State High Schools Association record book. Tweety actually played six years at Reserve Christian School in Louisiana but two of those years were his 7th and 8th grades in grammar (elementary) school and those stats are not recognized by the NFSHA. The NFSHA record book has Tweety listed as number two all-time behind Greg Procell.
