Brady played His college football at the University of Michigan. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2000. His first year with New England, starting QB Drew Bledsoe was injured during a game against the New York Jets and Brady was named the starter for the remainder of the season. He took New England to the playoffs that year and on to a Super Bowl where New England beat the heavy favored St.Louis Rams 20-17 for New Englands first Super Bowl victory in team history.
2 years later Brady led the Patriots back to another Super Bowl where they played the Carolina Panthers in one of the greatest Super Bowls in recent memory. The Patriots won 32-29 for Brady's second Super Bowl in Super Bowl XXXVIII. The following year Brady brought New England back to Super Bowl XXXlX to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 24-21 for Brady's third Super Bowl ring.
3 years later while New England was 18-0 going for a perfect season Brady was back at Super Bowl XLII going for another Super Bowl ring but this time New England fell just short and lost to the New York Giants 17-14.
Brady is regarded by many fans as the greatest New England QB of all time and one of the best playing today. He has continued to set NFL records: in January 2012, he threw six touchdown passes on the way to a 45-10 victory, as the Patriots eliminated Denver in the playoffs. Fans hope he will soon take the Patriots to another championship.

Born in San Mateo, CA in 1977, Brady played Baseball as a child and later became a football quarterback in high school. He attended Michigan in college and was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2000. He began as fourth-string quarterback but elevated to first-string backup behind Drew Bledsoe by the start of 2001 and became starter when Bledsoe was injured. Brady led the Patriots to the Superbowl and triumph in 2001 and won two additional Superbowls after that. His best season was 2007 when the Patriots won eighteen straight games but lost in Superbowl XLII on a bizarre pass play by the NY Giants. He was injured and lost for 2008 in the opening game but came back in 2009.
A little known fact about Tom Brady is that he majored in Organization Studies at the University of Michigan. When Brady keeps an 11 man unit totally under control, when he is able to move them almost effortlessly through a two minute drill, when he takes them 80 yards for a score, this little known fact becomes of interest
