Professional Wrestling was never formally invented by anyone, its just a highly dramatised version of the amateur styles. It was around the 1920's though when the "fake" professional wrestling became popular due to the gold dust trio Ed Lewis, Billy Sandow and Toots Mondt.

Answer: not 100% sure but pretty sure it was Vince McMahon. I know he is the founder of wwf and was born before wwf. (hint: there are probably some other websites that have the answer.)

The WWE was invented by Mr.Mcmahon's father Vincent J. Mcmahon the WCW was invented by Jim Crockett who then sold it to Ted Turner Tna was invented by Jeff Jerrett and Dixie Carter.
